PRINTS: Bookmarks/Marcapáginas #1

ENGLISH
Hello! Welcome to The Monster under the Bookshelf! If you didn't know already, I took my old blog ("No hay libros sobre trenes") where I wrote reviews in Spanish, and I changed it into an English/Spanish blog.
Now, as a way to welcome new readers (and to thank old ones) I've designed some bookmarks that you can put together yourself!

ESPAÑOL
¡Hola! ¡Bienvenido a The Monster under the Bookshelf!
Cute, aren't they? If you want them, just click HERE where you can download the PDF for free.
You should print them in nice quality sturdy paper, for a more professional look
Lindos, no?

You'll need/vas a necesitar:
Print/Impresión
X-acto knife/trincheta
(or scissors/o tijera)
Glue/Pegamento

REVIEW: Dash & Lily's Book of Dares/Cuaderno para dos Rachel Cohn & David Levithan

Dash & Lily's Book of Dares/
Cuaderno para dos
Rachel Cohn & David Levithan

Lily has left a red notebook full of challenges on a favorite bookstore shelf, waiting for just the right guy to come along and accept its dares. But is Dash that right guy? Or are Dash and Lily only destined to trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations across New York? Could their in-person selves possibly connect as well as their notebook versions? Or will they be a cosmic mismatch of disastrous proportions?

Why did I read this book?/¿Por qué leí este libro?
Last Christmas, I was craving for some light reading, so I bought this on Book Depository, maybe to late, considering that it takes a fair amount of time for my books to get all the way to Argentina. On top of that, the Post Office staff went on strike for a almost two weeks. Needless to say, I didn't get my book on time for Christmas. In fact, I got it in late January.
I figured that I could save it for Winter (that is a few months away for me), but I was in such a massive slump, that I started it one afternoon... and I finished it later that day-

My Opinion/Mi Opinion
I really liked this book, and I wasn't planning on enjoying it this much. I mean, it's not my all time favorite, but it DID get me out of my reading slump, and I'm really looking forward to reading more of these authors. I specially enjoyed Levithan's chapters, because of his writing style.
However, I have to say that at first I was really "defensive" about it, because Dash sounded like I person I would most likely want to punch in the face. I guess that a little bit later, grew some affection for him, so I liked him as a character (maybe not as a person? agh, I don't know)

4.5/5

Who would I recommend this to?/¿A quén se lo recomendaría?
If you liked:
Paper Towns
Paper Towns -  John Green
You might like this book
Well, I think this is kind of an obvious choice because John Green and David Levithan wrote a book together and all. But I choose it  because it also discuses the way we imagine other people, and how sometimes, we're wrong.
